Yeah, i went there today with family.
I drove there, abit! Best :D
Had a great time, chilling at the waterfalls.
Really, CHILLING ~~ ^^ i shivered and dad kept laughing at me -.-
Went off, for dinner and headed home.

ULU ULU Safari Restaurant

I went for the On Job Assessment yesteraday and what an experience i had.
The restaurant is separated into two, Dining and Buffet.
For Dining, it's like a normal banquet where customers buy their own food.
For Buffet, it's a normal buffet.

Upon reaching the place, i seem lost since i don't know anyone there besides the manager.
I went into the office and he handed me the uniform and asked me to get changed.
Seriously, a very weird looking working uniform.
- Black Pants
- Orange V-Neck Tee with Batik Designs on the collar and a big black flower outline were sewn on the left chest area.
- Black and Batik design apron
- Batik design bandanna to be worn on the head
Don't I look like a pendekar then? :P
After changing, i followed this guy and kept asking him what should i do next.
He taught me some basic things i need to know, before i was handed to this girl to continue teaching me about my task and stuffs. After setting the tables for the dining area, we helped out with the buffet area. Wipe the plates, Stack the plates, Set the tables and such. Seriously, the working environment is very stuffy since they didn't on the fans -_-
At 4.30pm, we had lunch. The good thing about the job is that you have free flow drinks. You can go inside to the drinks counter, grab a glass and get any soft drinks you want....at any point of time while you're working. Good huh! :D
When the clock strikes 5pm, we had briefing and once done, we dispersed to our individual working area, and i'm the runner for the dining area. When Night Safari opened it gates, crowd entered the place hurriedly and yes, within minutes, the whole area is packed with customers. So there I went, clearing the plates, putting the plates to the kitchen and rushed back to the dining area and served the food. This job, will never make you stop walking. You'll be walking around all the time. Tiring, yes! At around 7pm, the crowd reduced bit by bit since most of them entered Night Safari. Okay, i want to go there one day! :(
At 9pm, they let me have my break. I didn't eat since i'm bloated because i drank twice while working. Hahaha. Dude, free flow! :D:D:D
Despite the tough working experience, the people there are very friendly. They sing loudly in the kitchen, Tell stupid jokes to one another. Very fun, indeed.
At 11pm, the manager told me to get changed first and meet him since he wanted to talk to me. After changing, i met him. His first line he said was "Do you know you failed your assessment?". Surprising. Because while i was working, he kept coming to me and asked how's work and such. I was shocked, i don't mind actually. "The thing that failed you was your initiative level. You didn't pick up the litters on the floor". Was that even my job, as a runner? o.O He was busy at the buffet area, and how the heck he know that i didn't do a good job?
This guy came to my defense and said "Eh, okay pe!". Yet, it didnt convinced him.

Arrrrrrrrrh, what the heck.
I still went home on a happy note ^_^
