GRADUATION NIGHT 2009...

A 3 day, 2 nights camp of plenty much torture, pain and more torture. It was a camp to end our 6 months Adventure Training Course in which will able us to be a certified trainer. Honestly, i wasn't much prepared for this camp. I've been missing for trainings for months.

Day One:
Report in school and had a theory paper test, covering all the things we learnt from First Aid, Camping Issues and the things in the Adventure Park. We were told that failing this paper, means immediate failure to the camp but it turned out to be 10push-ups for one wrong question. I did around 60 push ups and owe them 200 more! >.< In total, all 24 of us, owe the seniors 2760 push ups! Insanity. After the theory paper, we had this movie screening till noon. We then set off by foot to Dairy Farm, Bukit Timah. With the pouring rain, heavy bagpacks on our back, we had to reach Dairy Farm by 4pm. Unfortunately, we arrived there at 6.30pm. Some of us struggled through our way there, including me, pulling my right hamstring. And for your information, we had no cash nor ezlink nor a watch. Upon reaching, we rushed to build shelters and tents for the night. We had briefing at night and had lights off around 11pm.

Day Two:
But that night, around midnight, they woke us up surprisingly! We were told to evacuate from that place in 30mins. We had to bring down the tents, shelters, repacked our stuffs and report outside the main entrance of Dairy Farm. While running our way out, we lost one team mate. We were shouted and scolded for losing a man. We had to rush back in and search. He was hidden by a senior! -.- Found him, rushed back out. Did head count and another one was missing. We rushed back in again, and found the other one. When all were there, our next task is to report to Changi Jetty by 8am! We were stunned. We had a sleep for like an hour, and had to continue trekking by foot, to Changi in 7 hours. We trekked. Shagged, exhausted. Every time we had a 5 or 10mins break, we tend to take a quick nap. It wasn't enough till we stopped by Mustafa Centre where we had a 45mins break. It was good enough to sleep! I did :) but wasn't that satisfying though. Continued trekking and at 8am, we were just at Aljunied. Again we didn't to meet on time. We were then given $30 to find our way to Changi Jetty. 24 of us and $30. Only solution, by bus. We knew that there is a bus, bus #2, that go straight to Changi Jetty. We found the bus and took it. It was a 1hour plus journey to Changi Jetty and the double decker bus, the top half were packed with 24 of us, SLEEPING! ^.^ the seniors were below. HAHA!
Reached Changi, we took the boats to Ubin where we were then given a map of Ubin and had to navigate our way to different points to take a picture of the given clue. Everything we do, involves by foot and speed! Tiring hor... My leg really feels like detaching! Once done at 4pm, we had lunch. The next task, was called Solo Night. We were told to spend the night in the Ubin Junle, alone. Arh, Yes! Each person were located at different parts of the jungle, with your friend around 10 to 15metres away from you. You were not allowed to speak to them. Sounds tough. You, alone, with your own made shelter, in the jungle. Creeepy. Yeah, we had to build our own shelter with the given groundmats. Before it went dark, i managed to build my own shelter. Hardwork okay! At night, i wrote the reflection with my torch on, being distracted and annoyed by the mosquitoes flying aroung and some insects crawling to you -.- i wore a long pants, long socks, long sleeve tee, sarong and a jacket to bed! Pretty much secured eh! Sadly, at night it rained, heavily. Thank God my shelter didn't collapsed! ;) i had a good sleep! SYIOK GILERRR!

Day Three:
Woke up at 6am and were told to packed our stuffs and report to the reporting area. Went for PT and had breakfast then. While cooking breakfast, the teacher in charge and the seniors told us to had a powder bathe. So the guys were told to pour powder, intensively all over the body. YES, ALL OVER. They checked by pulling our shirts up. And we were then told to pull our pants and show our butts to the seniors to make sure it has powder on it! >.< Hilarious. We Lost Our Dignity! AHAHAHA :P After packing up, we were told that we will be taking a bus straight to school and smiles were all on our tired faces. When we were walking back to the jetty, one of our team mate, collapsed unexpectedly. We began to panic, so do the seniors. So had the evacuation done, by carrying the casualty to the jetty, with our heavy bags on. However, it wasn't one, another team mate collapsed two. We had two now! Imagine the worriedness and the effort we had to give out to bring them all the back to the jetty. At Changi, we waited for everyone to arrive and saw the 2 casualties walking with this group of seniors. In the end, it was a drill! -.- An Evacuation Drill. We thought it was for real, but didn't know they had it all planned out! Reached school, washed up and had the ceremony. That's it, 3rd Batch ATC Graduates! :D

For today, i had 4 tickets to watch the premiere of Alvin and the Chipmunks 2. I brought along Naz, Din and Joe. Sorry Fiq, tak cukop ticket ar ;( So we headed down to town at 4pm. We walked around till we reached Forum Shopping Mall. When we exited the mall from the back, we saw this building and we saw this 'Ming Arcade'. We were tempted to play, so headed in the building to look for the arcade. We walked in, no shops were opened except for one or two. The escalators were not working. So we went up, to second floor, up to third and up to fourth, still no sign of the arcade. So we took the lift. Highest floor, was 7th. We pushed the 7th floor button and it went up..until....the lift door didn't opened. We were shocked. The door was jammed! So we began to panic but we still laughing around because we couldn't get serious. We called the emergency online and pushed the bell all the way. Thank God, it was a glass lift, so we can see outside. We tried to attract passerby attention but we failed. 20mins in the lift, i noticed a lady smoking at the ground floor at the side of the building and was looking up. I took the chance to attract her attention. She noticed us, stucked in the lift. She told us to wait, while she get help. Lucky for us, 30mins after being stucked up there, someone was at the other side of the lift, trying to save us! We were then saved... :) Lucky Escape. Oh! We had terrible time breathing in the lift after 20mins, i supposed. Damn Lucky. And we were told by the security that the building we were in, is called MING ARCADE! WTF.... there were no arcade in the end. So we went to Lido to watch the premiere, had dinner and headed home. It was a legend....wait for it...dary day! \m/

Well yeah, a very long post in the end! :D
I had a great time.
Enjoy it!
Peace.

PS: DON'T GO TO MING ARCADE!
